For entry into paragliding you will need to buy your own gear once you have progressed from the school. We stock many different combinations of wings and harnesses so you can try before you buy. To fly legally in New Zealand you will also need a altimeter and helmet. A reserve parachute, what we call a second chance, is optional but highly recommended, as our gloves and a flight suit. Just talk to the Nelson Para staff and we will be happy to answer any questions.
